Community Leader Breakfasts

Saint Mark’s hosts an annual Community Leaders’ Breakfast, where members of the community, committed to furthering the cause of diversity among Bay Area youth, meet, network and exchange ideas with educators who share their common goals.

Exciting partnerships and joint projects, such as the five-year-old partnership between Saint Mark’s and the Canal Alliance, have arisen out of the event.

Gene Batiste, Director of Equity and Justice for the National Association of Independent Schools; Debra Chasnoff, Founder of Women’s Educational Media and filmmaker; Milton Reynolds, of Facing History and Ourselves; and Bob McCannon, Co-Founder and Co-President of the Action Coalition for Media Education, have all spoken at past breakfasts.
