Graduation Statements

As part of the eighth grade Language Arts curriculum, each student will write words that express his or her own thoughts and feelings as the time of transition into high school approaches. Each student will speak these words on Graduation Day. Mrs. Scott will prepare the students both in the written and spoken presentation of this work and will set deadlines in the classroom as the year progresses. As Graduation nears, Ms. Sage will coach each student individually with oral delivery, stage presence and the use of the microphone.
