Beck Lorsch has had his Gecko Catch game accepted into the AppStore. The goal of this iPhone/iPad game is to collect green geckos and gold coins in a box while avoiding black geckos. Congratulations, Beck!

Elena Dennis recently learned that she was one of the few selected applicants to the Buck Institute's Summer Scholars program. She will be working full time in one of the institute's labs on the connections between nutrition and longevity. Elena attends Branson. Congratulations, Elena!
Congratulations to Mike Long '88, who won a Sports Emmy Award on May 8 for his work as an editor on HBO's "Real Sports." He won in the category of Outstanding Edited Sports Series/Anthology. After Saint Mark's, Mike attended Branson and graduated from Pomona College.
Our student-led Upper School math showcase is Tuesday, May 14. Students choose a math topic they are interested in, such as probability, and present on it. It all starts at 6:30 in the amphitheater.
We have the results from the State Scholastic Chess Championship played at the Santa Clara Convention Center the weekend of April 27-28.
Saturday, April 20, the Saint Mark's track team participated in its first meet of the spring in San Jose. Lots of all-time list placements and personal bests to celebrate!
