    Fifth graders filing out of the C-SPAN mobile-production bus heard these words from La'Shawna Saint-Preux, a representative from the network, which paid a visit to Saint Mark's on Friday, March 28, to honor Ben Blum for taking second place (out of more than 2,300 entries) in the StudentCam documentary competition with his video, "Data Obsession."

  • C-SPAN BUS COMING TO SAINT MARK'S

    On Friday, March 28, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., Saint Mark's will host the C-SPAN bus. The network will visit us to present Ben Blum with an award for his second-place finish in the StudentCam video competition, out of 2,300 entrants. The bus has cool mobile-production features and resources to inspire civic engagement.

    Many congratulations to Ben Blum, whose video on government surveillance has won second place in C-SPAN's StudentCam 2014 competition. Saint Mark's will be visited by the C-SPAN bus!     More good news on the alumni front: Pierce Freeman '10 has been named a candidate for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, which recognizes achievement in academics and visual art, and Matthew Spiegel '10 has been named a National Merit finalist.

  • LANDON KLEINBRODT '10 NAMED NATIONAL MERIT FINALIST

    Congratulations to Landon Kleinbrodt, Class of 2010, who is one of 15,000 National Merit finalists, out of 1.5 million entrants this year.
