Parents' Association Fundraising Events

In addition to managing the fundraising calendar for the school, the Development Office provides advisory support for all Parents’ Association fundraisers. They include:

The Spring Fundraiser

Our auction is the largest fundraiser organized by the Parents’ Association, generating approximately $200,000 per year. It encompasses both an online auction, running for at least two weeks prior to the event, and a Live Auction dinner dance held at the Marin Civic Center. Over 100 volunteers come together to execute this event.

Bookfaire

Held at a local bookstore, the Bookfaire is a community builder as well as a fundraiser. The Bookfaire Chair plans speaker events and a family party at the host bookstore, who in turn gives Saint Mark’s a percentage of the proceeds from all books sold to Saint Mark’s patrons that weekend. New this year was a luncheon held at school with a featured guest speaker.

Gift Wrap Sales

Working with an outside gift-wrap vendor, the Parents’ Association sells gift wrap through catalog and online sales to Saint Mark’s parents and friends. 5% of the proceeds come to Saint Mark’s.

Scrip/eScrip

By registering credit cards and other store cards, Saint Mark’s receives a percentage of all purchases made. The Scrip Chairs also sell paper Scrip (in the form of gift cards) from area vendors. A percentage of all Scrip sales come to the school. Click here to learn more.
