How to Apply
Families are encouraged to visit Saint Mark’s prior to submitting an application. If you decide to apply to Saint Mark’s, please follow the checklist below to complete the application process. Application materials can be downloaded from our website or requested by contacting the Admissions Office at (415) 472-8007 or bfinley@saintmarksschool.org.
- Application
- Submit the application to the Admissions Office no later than January 14, 2008.
- Recommendation Forms
- Give the Recommendation Form(s) to your child’s current teacher(s).
- Recommendations should be submitted to the Admissions Office, directly from the teacher, no later than January 14, 2008.
- School Records
- If your child is applying to first through eighth grade, submit the Transcript Release Form to the registrar of your child’s current school.
- Parent Interview
- Contact the Admissions Office to schedule a parent interview with the Admissions Director. Interviews last approximately thirty minutes.
- Student Visit
- Contact the Admissions Office to schedule a “screening” (two-hour visit for applicants to Kindergarten or grade one), or a visit day in the student’s current grade (applicants to grades two through eight).
- Entrance Exam
- Applicants to grades two through eight must complete and entrance exam on Saturday, February 2, 2008, from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m.
