    We are currently seeking part-time support teachers for 1st and 2nd grade classes. These positions are 16 to 18 hours a week over 3 to 5 days.   • 3rd Grade Support Teacher

    We are currently seeking a self-motivated support teacher to support two 3rd grade classroom teachers for a total of 26 hours per week. The job is Monday through Friday, with occasional meetings after school. The ideal candidate will have previous classroom experience and have a positive, encouraging demeanor with children. He/she should also be able to work with small groups, teach occasional lessons, and participate as a member of our grade-level team of teachers.

    Responsibilities/qualifications include:
    * classroom clerical and prep work
    * working with small groups of children
    * occasionally teaching whole group lessons
    * occasional travel on classroom field trips
    * initiating intervention with students when needed
    * comfort with technology
